Miami quarterback Jaden Rashada is fresh off his commitment to the Hurricanes and is already impressing at the Elite 11 Finals.

Rashada is one of 20 of the best quarterbacks in the 2023 class — including fellow Miami commit Emory Williams — competing in Los Angeles this week at the final Elite 11 event of the cycle.

According to 247Sports’ Greg Biggins, Rashada had a good showing on Tuesday night at the event’s first day. 247Sports ranked Rashada as the No. 6 QB after Day 1. Here’s their analysis:

After making his college decision a week ago, choosing Miami, Rashada said it was a huge stress reliever for him. He look relaxed and made some big time throws throughout the camp. There’s a lot to like about Rashada, starting with his 6-4 frame that he can easily add weight to, his smooth throwing motion and his ability to drive the ball down the field. He always looks on-balance, has easy velocity and the ball jumps out of his hand.

Rashada finished behind only Dante Moore (undecided), Jackson Arnold (Oklahoma), Malachi Nelson (USC), Austin Novosad (Baylor) and Marcus Stokes (Penn State).

Coming into this event, Rashada was ranked as the No. 7 quarterback prospect in the country for this cycle, per 247Sports Composite rankings.

The Elite 11 Finals will conclude on Thursday, June 30.
