Miami QB target Jaden Rashada pushes back commitment date
4-star quarterback prospect Jaden Rashada has updated his commitment date.
He will announce his final decision on June 26 — more than a week after he was originally scheduled to announce.
Miami is one of his final 5 programs. He’s also still considering Texas A&M, Florida, Ole Miss and LSU.
I’ll be pushing my 40+ year decision back to June 26th, as I would want more time to think and reflect on one of the biggest decisions of my life, while doing it on my Grandmas birthday 👼🏽! I’ll be doing no interviews until after my decision! Please and thank you 🙏🏾! #4413 #AG2G pic.twitter.com/qvYBkOKaWr

Rashada’s decision to push back his commitment could be good news for the Canes. Last week, he said he was “working on” an official visit to Coral Gables prior to his announcement date.
Rashada did take an unofficial visit to Miami back in March. Still, getting him back on campus for an official could go a long way toward securing his commitment.
He is the No. 7 quarterback in the country for the class of 2023, per 247Sports Composite rankings. He’s also the No. 45 player nationally.
Listed at 6-foot-4, Rashada already has tremendous size for a quarterback. He attends Pittsburg High School in Pittsburg, California.
Rashada’s commitment will be announced on CBS HQ.
