Miami reportedly leading for 4-star linebacker

Miami seems to be in a good spot for 4-star linebacker Jayvant Brown.

According to On3’s recruiting prediction machine, the Canes have a 25.8% chance of landing Brown’s commitment. Miami leads the way, with Alabama (22.6%) and LSU (19.4%) not far behind.

Brown is a Fort Lauderdale native and would be a massive addition to Miami’s 2023 recruiting class. He took an unofficial visit to Miami last summer when Manny Diaz was still the head coach.

He’s now one of the top uncommitted linebacker prospects in the country. He’s ranked as the No. 294 overall player and the No. 21 linebacker in the class of 2023, per 247Sports Composite rankings

.

Brown is listed at 6-foot, 220 pounds. He attends St. Thomas Aquinas High School.

Miami is hoping to continue its hot start on the recruiting trail. The Canes’ 2023 class currently ranks No. 10 nationally, per 247Sports Composite rankings.
