Miami will be missing at least 2 starters vs. Virginia Tech due to injury.

Cornerback Tyrique Stevenson and receiver Michael Redding III are not suited up for this game, according to reports from Blacksburg.

Stevenson has been dealing with an injury, but there was optimism that he would be able to play in this game. Redding’s injury is more of a surprise. He caught 4 passes for 50 yards in Miami’s loss to UNC last week.

Miami did get a bit of good injury news as well. Center Jakai Clark is suited up and warming up with his teammates prior to taking on the Hokies. Clark left the North Carolina game early last week.

This is a must-win game for Miami as the Canes try to get their season back on track. Miami has lost 3 straight games to Texas A&M, Middle Tennessee and North Carolina.

Despite the losing streak, Miami is not fully out of the race for the ACC Coastal division. The Canes are just 0-1 in conference play.

Kickoff is at 12:30 p.m. ET.
