Miami to be without several contributors vs. Bethune-Cookman
Miami kicks off against Bethune-Cookman on Thursday. It looks like the Hurricanes will be without a few contributors in the contest, unfortunately.
Akheem Mesidor, Nyjalik Kelly, Kamren Kinchens, Mark Fletcher Jr., and Branson Deen are all dealing with undisclosed injuries and did not dress ahead of kickoff, according to reports from the field.
Mesidor and Deen both started against Texas A&M in Week 2. The Hurricanes went on to beat then-No. 23 Texas A&M, 48-33. Mesidor was seen wearing a boot before kickoff.
Akheem Mesidor, Nyjalik Kelly, Kamren Kinchens, Mark Fletcher Jr., and Branson Deen appear to not be playing today for Miami.

Mesidor and Deen are both experienced defenders. Mesidor transferred from West Virginia and Deen from Purdue. Mesidor played in 11 games last season.
Fletcher had 4 rushes for 6 yards before exiting the previous game with an injury. Kinchens accounted for 7 total tackles in the win.
The win over the Aggies earned Miami a spot in the AP Top 25 for the first time this season.
Luckily for Miami, it will be favored heavily in the game and can afford to have some players injured.
Kickoff is at 7:30 p.m. ET on ACC Network.
