Renderings for a proposed new Miami football stadium have been released.
The stadium project, led by Miami booster and billionaire attorney John H. Ruiz, would reportedly be located in Tropical Park — significantly closer to the University’s campus.

Miami currently plays its home games at the Miami Dolphins’ Hard Rock Stadium, which is approximately 20 miles away from the Canes’ campus in Coral Gables. The new stadium would be located 2.8 miles from campus, Ruiz said.
It is 7 mins from UM Campus, 2.8 miles. However, the plan encompasses adding more capacity for Students with a new UM Campus on premises expanding the existing schools. https://t.co/9xAQFqf0wB pic.twitter.com/dvzezkdh4M
