Miami’s trip to College Station in Week 3 was supposed to be one of the top matchups in the country next week.

It will still likely be a top-25 matchup, but Texas A&M’s stunning loss to App State on Saturday has certainly taken some of the national excitement out of the game.

App State upset A&M 17-14 on Saturday evening, handing the No. 6 Aggies their first loss of the year.

Texas A&M quarterback Haynes King was unable to move the ball for much of this game. He finished with just 97 passing yards on the day.

The Aggies also made a few other mistakes in this one, including a missed field goal in the game’s final minutes.

Miami also struggled in the first half against its Week 2 matchup on Saturday, but ended up pulling away from Southern Miss in the second half for a 30-7 victory.

Miami is 2-1 all-time against Texas A&M.

Kickoff is at 9:00 p.m. ET next Saturday night.
