Tyler Van Dyke leads all ACC quarterbacks in key advanced stat
Tyler Van Dyke leads all ACC quarterbacks in ESPN’s Total QBR metric entering Week 4.
Van Dyke haas posted a Total QBR of 89.6 so far this season. He just edged out Florida State’s Jordan Travis and Duke’s Riley Leonard for the top spot.

ESPN’s Total QBR measures a quarterback’s efficiency in a number of areas, including rushing.
Van Dyke is off to an incredible start in 2023. He has thrown for 822 yards, 8 touchdowns and just 1 interception so far this season. He’s also averaging 11 yards per attempt.
He was a major reason why Miami was able to upset Texas A&M back in Week 2. Van Dyke threw 5 touchdown passes in that game.
Van Dyke is excelling in his 1st season with new offensive coordinator Shannon Dawson. Miami’s offense is averaging 8.29 yards per play, which leads all ACC programs in 2023.
Miami will be going on the road for the first time this season in Week 4. The Hurricanes are set to face Temple on Saturday.
