Tyler Van Dyke leaves Duke game with injury, unlikely to return
Tyler Van Dyke is “doubtful” to return to the Duke game on Saturday afternoon.
That’s according to sideline reporter Josh Darrow, who said the Canes’ quarterback was “doubtful” to return. He left the game after taking a hard hit in the second quarter.

Van Dyke was replaced by Jake Garcia midway through the second quarter. Duke held a 17-7 lead at Hard Rock Stadium at the time of the injury.
Van Dyke struggled to move the ball prior to being removed due to injury. He completed 11 of 16 passes for just 87 yards and 1 touchdown.
A loss to Duke would bring the Canes to 1-2 in ACC play on the year and 3-4 overall. It would likely eliminate Miami from any hopes of contending for the ACC Coastal crown.
Duke leads 17-7 at the half.
