Brennan Armstrong readies for ‘a bunch of emotions’ vs. Virginia
Brennan Armstrong will be back at Virginia in Week 4. It will the first time that the quarterback has been there since transferring to N.C. State and the emotions are high.
N.C. State and Virginia meet on the gridiron Friday. Armstrong hopes that the Virginia fans won’t be too hard on him.
“I don’t know. I hope.. I put blood sweat and tears in that place for five years, hopefully they’re not too hard on me,” said Armstrong. “If they are it’s no big deal. I’ll be ready.”

Armstrong has 679 yards passing and 6 total touchdowns so far. The Wolfpack are coming off of a 45-7 win over VMI where Armstrong had 264 yards passing with 1 touchdown.
There will be a lot of emotions in Armstrong’s return to Scott Stadium. For now, all Armstrong can do is just focus on preparing for the matchup.
“I’ll have a bunch of emotions when I get out there…when we hit the field,” said Armstrong. “I’m just gonna refocus and do my job and then my job is to go out there and win. I gotta take it one play at a time.”

Armstrong will have to wait until Friday for his return to Virginia. Kickoff will be at 7:30 p.m. ET on ESPN.
