Cedrick Bailey is a 3-star quarterback prospect out of Florida for the 2024 recruiting class. On Monday, Bailey announced his commitment to NC State.

Prior to his commitment, Bailey generated a number of Power 5 offers from Georgia Tech, Indiana, Louisville, Texas A&M and Pittsburgh. Toledo and FAU were other interested programs.

In the end, Bailey gives Dave Doeren’s program a key QB commit for 2024:

Bailey’s a 3-star prospect listed at 6-foot-6.5 and 185 pounds out of Chaminade-Madonna Prep School in Hollywood, Florida. According to the 247 Sports Composite Rankings, Bailey is the 32nd QB Prospect nationally and the No. 79 player out of Florida for the cycle.

Impact on NC State’s recruiting class

As things currently stand, Bailey is NC State’s 2nd commitment for the 2024 recruiting class. Cannon Lewis, a 3-star LB out of West Virginia, is the other.

While there is still plenty of time to round out the recruiting class, Bailey provides the Wolfpack with an intriguing QB to work with moving forward.
