Former NC State quarterback Devin Leary has made a decision.

Kentucky has secured Leary’s commitment, according to a report from On3’s Hayes Fawcett. Leary was considered to be one of the top quarterbacks in the portal.

Leary also shared this photo on his Instagram story on Tuesday afternoon:

Leary helped lead the Wolfpack to an 8-4 record this season, finishing fifth in the ACC Atlantic. The QB threw for 1,265 yards and 11 TDs before suffering a season-ending pectoral muscle injury in October.

In his collegiate career so far, Leary has thrown for 6,807 yards, 62 touchdowns and 16 interceptions across his four seasons in North Carolina. He has one year of eligibility remaining to spend at Kentucky.

NC State will likely turn to quarterback MJ Morris in 2023. Morris showed flashes of potential as a true freshman this season. However, his season was also cut short due to injury.

NC State will play against Maryland in the Duke’s Mayo Bowl on Dec. 30.
