Jakobi Meyers, former NC State star, reportedly lands major NFL deal with new team
Jakobi Meyers started his NFL career as an undrafted free agent out of NC State. Now, Meyers is reportedly signing a major deal to leave the New England Patriots in free agency.
According to NFL insider Ian Rapoport, Meyers is signing a deal 3-year deal worth $33 million with the Las Vegas Raiders. That deal includes $21 million guaranteed and reunites Meyers with former Patriots OC Josh McDaniels who is now the head coach of the Raiders.
Meyers also joins Jimmy Garoppolo as former Patriots stars to sign with the Raiders in free agency:

Meyers was New England’s leading receiver for three years running with back-to-back seasons of 800+ yards in 2021-22. For his career, Meyers has 2,758 receiving yards and 8 receiving touchdowns.
During the 2018 season, Meyers posted 92 catches for 1,047 yards and 4 receiving touchdowns for NC State but that was not enough for him to hear his name called in the 2019 NFL Draft. Nevertheless, Meyers has shined in the NFL and now has a multi-year deal as a key free-agent acquisition.
