NC State is getting really creative with its recognition campaigns.

On Thursday, NC State athletics issued a release intended to bring more national interest for star linebacker Payton Wilson, who is playing like one of the best defenders in the conference heading into the final stretch of the season.

Wilson is up to 48 solo tackles with 4 sacks and a pair of interceptions this season. He has 105 combined tackles and 2 forced fumbles on the year with 3 regular season games to play.

And NC State wants the country to know about it. What did they come up with to let the country know? A Taylor Swift themed campaign dubbed the “Tackles Tour,” a play on Swift’s “Era’s Tour.”
