NC State guard Dereon Seabron will remain in the 2022 NBA Draft after receiving feedback from NBA teams over the last month.

Seabron posted this to his Instagram account on Wednesday afternoon with the caption “Uno Out.”

This is not a huge surprise, although NC State fans were hoping he may return after Terquavion Smith announced he would be back for the 2022-23 season on Tuesday.

Seabron has impressed evaluators throughout the pre-draft process and will have a chance to be a first round pick. At the very least, he should be picked up early in the second round and have a chance to make a team.

It’s a big loss for the Wolfpack, who will be looking to rebound from a disappointing season overall last season. Seabron was NC State’s leading scorer at 17.3 points per game.

The NBA Draft is on June 23.
