Trey Parker, A Class of 2023 NC State signee who pledged to the Wolfpack in 2022, announced Wednesday that he will be reclassifying to the Class of 2024. He also affirmed that he is still committed to playing at NC State.

Parker will stay another year with Overtime Elite to hone his skills before playing in college. Last season he averaged 12.4 points, 2.3 assists and 3.5 rebounds a game for the City reapers in the Overtime Elite league.

Parker was a top 100 prospect in the Class of 2023, rated as the nation’s No. 86 overall prospect, No. 12 shooting guard and No. 7 player from the state of Georgia.

Replacing Terquavion Smith and Jarkel Joiner is no easy task, but NC State has taken some steps towards addressing it, even without Parker. DJ Horne, Jayden Taylor and Michael O’Connell were each brought in out of the transfer portal to replace their minutes.
