N.C. State picked up a commitment from linebacker Joshua Ofor on Monday. The Wolfpack now have three linebackers in their 2024 class, including Ofor.

247Sports ranks Ofor as a 3-star LB out of Jonesboro (Ga.) Mundy’s Mill. A recent visit to Raleigh on Sept. 8 may have sealed the deal for Ofor.

Ofor picked N.C. State over East Carolina, Air Force, Alabama State, and Appalachian State. No other ACC schools showed interest in Ofor outside of the Wolfpack.

Some other programs that showed interest in Ofor were Ole Miss, Tulane, and Maryland.

Ofor has shown throughout high school that he can do well in multiple sports. He also runs track and field and plays basketball.

The other linebackers committed to Dave Doeren include 3-star commits Cannon Lewis and Zane Williams.

N.C. State has produced defensive talent like Bradley Chubb in recent years. Chubb now plays for the Miami Dolphins under Mike McDaniel.

Here’s a highlight tape from Ofor’s junior season.
