NC State made a major addition in the transfer portal on Saturday evening.

The Wolfpack landed a commitment from Notre Dame transfer offensive lineman Zeke Correll. He joins NC State after multiple seasons as Notre Dame’s starting center.

Here’s his announcement:

Correll was a multi-year starter for the Fighting Irish. He started 6 games for the program in 2021 and all 13 games of the Irish’s 2022 season. In 2023, he was also Notre Dame’s regular starter at center before suffering a concussion late in the season. In total, he made 29 starts for the Fighting Irish before entering the portal.

Correll will now join NC State as Dave Doeren and Co. look to revamp the Wolfpack’s offensive line this offseason. That was a weakness for NC State early in the season, but things have improved as it is riding a 5-game winning streak into bowl season.

For Notre Dame, Ashton Craig replaced Correll in the starting lineup down the stretch. Craig is expected to return as Notre Dame’s starting center in 2024.

NC State will face Kansas State in the Pop-Tarts Bowl on Dec. 28.
