NC State just pulled off a huge win over Wake Forest on the road, coming back to win 79-77.

And the Wolfpack could not have done it without the services of DJ Burns, their star senior center. Burns went off for 31 points and 9 rebounds, putting the rest of the pack on his back at times to secure the win.

Jarkel Joiner and Terquavion Smith were right there alongside Burns, dropping 17 and 16 points each. The Wolfpack made 8 of their 17 3-point attempts on the afternoon and hit 46% o their attempts from the field as a whole. NC State is now 7-4 in the ACC and 17-5 overall. On top of that, the Wolfpack have only lost good games this season and are well on track to reach the NCAA Tournament.

The Wolfpack have a pair of tame games against Florida State and Georgia Tech before facing off against Virginia in Charlottesville on Feb. 7.
