NC State picks up commitment from 2024 Virginia cornerback

Fredericksburg (Va.) St. Michael the Archangel Catholic cornerback Asaad Brown II announced his commitment to NC State on Wednesday.

Brown’s pledge gives the Wolfpack their 3rd known commit for the 2024 class. He selected NC State from a list of offers that went 30-deep and included the likes of  Arkansas, Clemson, Florida State, LSU, Michigan, North Carolina, Ole Miss, Penn State, and Tennessee.

The 6-foot, 178-pound Brown is rated as a 3-star prospect in the industry-generated 247 Composite. He ranks as the No. 11 recruit from the state of Virginia, the No. 48 corner, and the No. 522 overall recruit in the class. According to 247Sports’ Michael Clark, Brown is coming to Raleigh to play nickel.
