NC State begins ACC play by going on the road in Week 4.

Ahead of Friday night’s game in Charlottesville, the Wolfpack revealed their uniform combo for the conference clash with Virginia. Dave Doeren’s squad is going with red helmets, white jerseys and red pants for the conference opener.

NC State improved to 2-1 on the season in Week 3, bouncing back from the loss to Notre Dame by defeating VMI 45-7. Virginia, meanwhile, is looking for its first win.

UVA is 0-3 on the year, and 0-2 in Power 5 contests before ACC play. Tony Elliott’s team lost to Tennessee 49-13 in Nashville in Week 1. Virginia lost its home opener 36-35 to James Madison. The Cavaliers got off to a strong start against Maryland, but the Terrapins charged back to win 42-14.

The Wolfpack have already been on the road once this season. NC State won 24-14 at UConn in Week 1.

Friday’s game at Scott Stadium in Charlottesville is set for 7:30 p.m. ET, airing on ESPN. It will be an emotional return for QB Brennan Armstrong, who played 5 years at UVA before transferring to NC State.
