Trea Turner, former NC State star, goes yard for third time at World Baseball Classic

Trea Turner is ridiculous.

The former NC State shortstop mashed his 3rd home run over the wall at the World Baseball Classic Sunday, just a day after blasting a Grand Slam over the left field wall to give Team USA the lead over Venezuela in the quarterfinals Saturday. This time, Turner’s solo shot to the exact same spot put Team USA on top 3-1 in the bottom of the 2nd over Cuba.

Check it out for yourself:

USA, should they beat Cuba Sunday night, will face off against one of Japan or Mexico on Tuesday in the World Baseball Classic Final. Japan and Mexico face off Monday at 7 p.m. ET in Miami.
