Trea Turner, former Wolfpack star, goes yard for 5th time at WBC in final vs. Japan

Trea Turner just mashes baseballs. If you’ve been following the World Baseball Classic in Miami, you’ve figured that out by now.

The former Wolfpack star has hit 4 home runs heading into Monday’s final against Team Japan. And he wasted no time in blasting No. 5 over the left field wall, putting Team USA on the board in the top of the 2nd.

Check it out for yourself below:

Team U

SA downed Venezuela and Cuba to get to the final against Japan, beating Cuba by 12 to reach the final. Japan, on the other hand, downed Mexico Monday to advance to play Team USA.

It’s very likely that we have not seen the last Trea Turner home run Tuesday.
