One of the veterans on the defensive line for N.C. State was seen at warmups. However, he was not dressed according to Ethan McDowell of The Wolfpacker.

Savion Jackson has been at N.C. State since 2019. There would be a hole on the defensive line if he is not able to play.

Jackson played in seven games last season before suffering a season-ending injury against Syracuse. Before the injury Jackson accounted for 15 total tackles, 3 tackles for loss, and 1 pass deflection.

N.C. State and UConn played last season. The game ended with a dominant Wolfpack 41-10 victory in Raleigh. N.C. State has never lost to the Huskies, as it boasts a 3-0 record all-time heading into the matchup.

One of the main storylines for N.C. State coming into this season will be the new quarterback under center. Devin Leary is now at Kentucky.
