The ACC has announced details for North Carolina’s pivotal matchup with Pittsburgh in Week 9.

Kickoff has been set for 8 p.m. ET in Chapel Hill. The game will be broadcast on ACC Network.

This is a crucial matchup for both teams as it will likely have major implication on the ACC Coastal title race. North Carolina is currently 3-0 and has the inside track to winning the division.

Pitt is 1-1 in conference play after picking up a shocking loss to Georgia Tech a couple weeks ago. However, the Panthers are still one of the most talented teams in this division and could end up making a run at the Coastal crown.

The Panthers are defending ACC Coastal champions. They also went on to win the ACC last season, beating Wake Forest in the conference title game.

North Carolina is trying to reach the ACC Championship Game for the first time since 2015.

Pittsburgh has won the last 2 meetings in this series. UNC holds the all-time series record advantage, 10-5.
