North Carolina moved to 3-0 on the season on Tuesday day night with a 94-83 victory at the College of Charleston.

The Tar Heels’ offense continues to shine, as they shot 54.2 percent from the floor in the win. This was North Carolina’s second straight game with more than 90 points.

“This builds a lot of confidence for us moving forward, it really does,” coach Hubert Davis said after the game, via 247Sports. “If you can be successful in this type of environment against this type of team, you can be successful anywhere.”

Armando Bacot and Caleb Love led the way with 24 points and 22 points, respectively. Bacot went 10-of-12 from the floor and added a game-high 12 rebounds. Love went 10-of-12 from the free throw line and had a team-high 6 assists.

UNC got also got big performances off the bench. Forward Brady Manek scored 17 points on 12 shots (3-of-8 from long range) and forward Kerwin Walton chipped in 14 points.

Remarkably, no one in North Carolina’s starting lineup on Tuesday made a 3-point attempt. The starters combined to go 0-for-5, but Manek and Walton were able to pick up the slack with a 7-of-14 performance.

This was North Carolina’s final tune-up game before facing No. 6 Purdue on Saturday. Tip-off is at 4:00 p.m. ET.
