Caleb Love has spent a wild ride in the transfer portal since leaving North Carolina. Now, he’s committing to a new home for the second time and this time he’s heading out west.

In a reveal on social media, Love announced he’s transferring to Arizona. He joins a program that went 28-7 a year ago while winning the Pac-12 Tournament.

This offseason has been far from a simple one for Love, to say the least. Despite 3 seasons with the Tar Heels and 96 career starts, Love made the surprising move to hit the transfer portal after missing the NCAA Tournament altogether.

After hitting the portal, Love originally committed to Michigan to play for Juwan Howard, a similarly surprising move to his UNC departure given Hunter Dickinson’s decision to leave the Wolverines. That transfer eventually hit a snag with Love re-entering the portal this spring.

Now, it looks like Love’s offseason will reach a conclusion with a new home at Arizona. Love brings with him career averages of 14.6 points, 3.3 rebounds and 3.3 assists while shooting 36% from the floor.
