ESPN’s Dan Mullen has made his prediction for North Carolina’s matchup with Notre Dame on Saturday afternoon.

Mullen is going with the Tar Heels. Here’s his full slate of Week 4 picks:

North Carolina is a slight betting favorite in this matchup. The Tar Heels enter this game with a 3-0 record and one of the most efficient offenses in the entire country.

UNC is also coming off an open date. However, North Carolina has yet to face a Power 5 team this season. Its wins were against Florida A&M, App State and Georgia State. Its defense has also been suspect in the early part of the year.

Notre Dame has the opposite problem. The Fighting Irish have been excellent defensively, but have been one of the least efficient offenses in the entire country through 3 weeks. Notre Dame is 1-2 on the year and is coming off its first victory of the season last weekend vs. Cal.

Notre Dame is 20-1 all-time against North Carolina. This will be the third consecutive season where these 2 programs meet.

Kickoff is at 3:30 p.m. ET on ABC on Saturday.
