Dyami Brown, former North Carolina standout, gets first NFL scores

Dyami Brown, WR for the Washington Commanders, is having a career day.

Brown, the former Tar Heel, has found the end zone twice today for the Commanders.

Early in the 2nd quarter, Brown caught a deep ball from Carson Wentz and took it to the house for a 75-yard score, the first of his career. Then, late in the 3rd, Brown caught another ball for a 30-yard score, his 2nd of the day and 2nd for his career.

Brown has accrued 105 yards on the day, easily a career-high.

Brown played for the Tar Heels from 2018-2020 and ended his college career with 2,306 receiving yards and 21 TDs. Brown is 7th in North Carolina’s all-time receiving yards and tied for 2nd in career TDs with 21.
