ESPN’s College GameDay will broadcast live from the Dean E. Smith Center in Chapel Hill next Saturday, Feb. 3, for the first of two regular-season battles between No. 3 North Carolina and No. 12 Duke.

The traveling basketball pregame show will broadcast from 11-12 ET on ESPN. The Smith Center will open at 8:30 a.m., and lines may begin to form at 7:30 a.m.

This will be the 12th time UNC has hosted College GameDay.

Since back-to-back losses earlier in the season to UConn and Kentucky, North Carolina has been on a roll. The Tar Heels (16-3, 8-0 ACC) have won nine straight games, all of which have come by at least 10 points. RJ Davis, averaging 21 a game on 42% shooting from 3 this season, is coming off a 36-point explosion in the win over Wake Forest last Monday.

Duke stumbled out of the gates to a 5-3 start, but the Blue Devils have own nine of their last 10. Kyle Filipowski has been superb as a sophomore, averaging 18.2 points, nine rebounds, 3.1 assists, and 1.8 blocks a game.

Carolina faces Florida State on the road on Saturday while Duke hosts Clemson. The Blue Devils have a Monday trip to Blacksburg to battle Virginia Tech while North Carolina travels to Georgia Tech on Tuesday.
