North Carolina announces home game designations ahead of 2023 season
North Carolina is out with its home designations at Kenan Stadium for the 2023 football season.
UNC will open its home slate on Saturday, Sept. 9 against App State.
The Tar Heels are coming off a 9-win season when they also captured the Coastal Division, and made the Holiday Bowl, the Tar Heels fourth consecutive bowl trip. Carolina won 9 games for just the second time since Mack Brown’s first stint in Chapel Hill with 2015 being the other occurrence.
2023 Home Game Designations
Oct. 7 vs. Syracuse: Family Football Experience
Oct. 21 vs. Virginia: Rams Club Day / Cancer Awareness Game
Nov. 4 vs. Campbell: Military Appreciation Day
Nov. 11 vs. Duke: Senior Day / Homecoming / Monogram Day
Brown earlier this month agreed to a one-year contract extension. The length of the contract remains 5 years, now through January of 2028.
