Live Action takes place each year in Chapel Hill at the beginning of the college basketball season. This year, UNC will play its first exhibition game exactly 2 weeks later β on Oct. 27 against St. Augustine’s.
North Carolina has high expectations entering the 2023-24 season. The Tar Heels missed the NCAA Tournament last year, but return longtime starters Armando Bacot and RJ Davis.
UNC also added key players such as Harrison Ingram and Cormac Ryan via the transfer portal. Elliot Cadeau, a 5-star freshman, could also make an immediate impact at the point guard position this season.
North Carolina’s first game of the 2023-24 season will be against Radford on Nov. 6.
