North Carolina hoops adds transfer commitment from elite Ivy League guard
North Carolina hoops has lost 6 players to the transfer portal so far and it’s not even May. But as many coaches would say, the portal door swings both ways.
The Tar Heels added a commitment from former Brown guard Paxson Wojcik Monday, formerly of Loyola Chicago during their Sweet 16 run in 2021. Wojcik was one of the more interesting prospects in the portal, a strong offensive player and an experienced addition to a team in need of a roster change.
Wojcik posted the following on social media Monday evening:
Couldn’t be more excited to be a Tar Heel! 🐏 #CarolinaFamily pic.twitter.com/C39v4v4eMr

How can Wojcik help UNC?
North Carolina was the worst 3-point shooting team in the ACC last season. The Tar Heels hit at just a 31.2% clip, with their best shooter being RJ Davis at 36%.
Wojcik immediately elevates that ceiling. He shot 38% from downtown last year, an intriguing number for UNC.
