No. 18 North Carolina will have its first real test of the Hubert Davis era on Saturday afternoon.

The Tar Heels will face No. 6 Purdue on Saturday, and they will do so as 7.5-point underdogs, per DraftKings. The total has been set at 151 points.

Purdue has one of the top teams in the country, led by potential NBA lottery pick Jaden Ivey. The Boilermakers also have bigs Trevion Williams and Zach Edey, as well as an experienced coach in Matt Painter.

This will be an important benchmark game for North Carolina. The Tar Heels have looked explosive offensively so far, but have struggled on the defensive end at times.

Still, UNC is getting a lot of production from players like Caleb Love and Brady Manek — if that continues, it will have a good chance at pulling off the upset. There’s also Armando Bacot, who is playing like an All-ACC contributor in the early going.

Tip off is at 4:00 p.m. ET.
