North Carolina is a heavy favorite over South Carolina in the Duke’s Mayo Bowl on Thursday morning.

The Tar Heels are favored by 11 points, according to DraftKings. The total has been set at 57.5 points.

This line has continued to move in North Carolina’s favor as both teams prepared for this game. The Gamecocks are starting Zeb Noland at quarterback and are missing multiple starters.

Meanwhile, North Carolina will have quarterback Sam Howell in what is presumably his final game in a collegiate uniform. Howell is already North Carolina’s all-time leader in passing yards and passing touchdowns.

Howell has scored 34 total touchdowns this season and has rushed for a career-high 825 yards.

North Carolina is 35-19 all-time against South Carolina. However, the Tar Heels have just one win in this series since 1991 — a 24-20 victory in Charlotte back in 2019. The Gamecocks have won six of the last eight meetings between these programs.

Kick off is at 11:30 a.m. ET on Thursday.
