North Carolina smashed rival NC State 100-80 on Saturday afternoon.

The offensive outburst powered the Tar Heels to their third straight win this season and their seventh in eight tries vs. the Wolfpack.

Caleb Love led the way with 21 points and 5 assists. Three other North Carolina starters — Armando Bacot, RJ Davis and Brady Manek — also scored in double figures.

Manek was especially effective, scoring 17 points on 6-of-8 shooting. He made 5 3-pointers and contributed defensively with 1 block and 2 steals.

North Carolina also honored former coach Roy Williams during the game. Williams now has his own banner in the rafters of the Smith Center:

This victory means North Carolina finishes 3-0 on a three-game home-stand. The Tar Heels are now 7-3 in ACC play and are in good position to earn an at-large berth in the NCAA Tournament.

North Carolina travels to face Louisville on Tuesday. The Tar Heels will be looking for their first road win since Jan. 2.
