North Carolina has secured a major recruiting visit for this spring.

The Tar Heels will host 4-star cornerback Zion Ferguson on a visit on March 4. The Georgia native has been committed to LSU since Sept. 4.

Ferguson attends Gainesville High School in Gainesville, Georgia. He’s listed at 6-foot, 161 pounds.

He has become a top target for the Tar Heels in the class of 2024. He tagged head coach Mack Brown, co-defensive coordinator Charlton Warren and new cornerbacks coach Jason Jones in his tweet.

Ferguson is currently ranked as the No. 265 overall player and the No. 21 cornerback in the country, per 247Sports Composite rankings.

North Carolina currently has commitments from 3 prospects in the class of 2024, however none currently have 247Sports Composite ratings. The class ranks No. 65 nationally.
