North Carolina trending up for 4-star forward in class of 2023
North Carolina is seemingly in a good position to land 4-star forward Zayden High this weekend.
High, who will announce his commitment on Sunday, is one of the top prospects in the class of 2023. He told ESPN’s Paul Biancardi that he’s still considering Arkansas, Michigan, UNC, Texas and Villanova.

According to On3’s recruiting prediction machine, the Tar Heels are the clear favorite to earn High’s commitment. On3 gives UNC a 92.7% chance to land High’s pledge.
This would be a significant commitment in the class of 2023. High ranks as the No. 48 overall player and the No. 9 power forward in the cycle, per 247Sports Composite rankings.
High has tremendous size for his position at 6-foot-9. He’s also known as a good shooter for his size and should be able to play the power forward position in Hubert Davis’ system at North Carolina.
If UNC does land High, he would become the second commitment in this class. North Carolina already has a commitment from 5-star guard Simeon Wilcher.
