Tez Walker will be entering the 2024 NFL Draft.

Late Saturday night, the Tar Heels’ star receiver officially accepted an invitation to the 2024 Senior Bowl. That indicates Walker intends to forego his remaining eligibility and enter the 2024 Draft.

Here’s the announcement:

Walker spent one tumultuous season in Chapel Hill before deciding to turn pro. Walker was ineligible to play for the Tar Heels until midway through the season when the NCAA granted him a waiver.

He made his UNC debut on Oct. 7 against Syracuse, catching 6 passes for 43 yards. In his next game — also his first start — against Miami, Walker caught 6 passes for 132 yards and 3 touchdowns in a big win over Miami.

Walker finished the season with 41 receptions for 699 yards and 7 touchdowns. When on the field, Walker was Carolina’s most dangerous receiver. He has the skill and speed to become a difference-maker at the NFL level.

North Carolina is also expected to lose quarterback Drake Maye to the 2024 NFL Draft.

The 2024 Senior Bowl will be played on Feb. 3 in Mobile, Alabama.
