WATCH: Caleb Love hits 3-pointer that ends Mike Krzyzewski’s career

Caleb Love put himself into North Carolina lore on Saturday night.

It was his dagger 3-pointer with under 30 seconds to go that put UNC up by 4 points, ensuring the Tar Heels would beat Duke and advance to the National Championship game.

It’s also the shot that effectively ends Mike Krzyzewski’s historic career as Duke’s head coach.

UNC got a rebound with just under 1 minute remaining, but milked some clock before trying to extend its 1-point lead. And then Love dribbled around a Leaky Black ball screen, rose up and drilled the shot.

Here’s the play:

Love finished with 28 points on 11-of-20 shooting. He made 3-of-10 attempts from long range and grabbed 4 rebounds. 22 of those points c

ame in the second half.

Armando Bacot, RJ Davis and Brady Manek also had big impacts on this game. Bacot collected 21 rebounds and recorded his 30th double-double of the season, which set an ACC record. Davis scored 18 points and was excellent in the first half as the rest of his teammates struggled to find offense. Manek hit three 3-pointers and had three blocks in the second half.

North Carolina will advance to play Kansas in the National Championship game on Monday night.
