Amon-Ra St. Brown hilariously pays up on Notre Dame-USC bet with Lions teammate
There’s nothing like a friendly bet between NFL teammates involving their former colleges.
Amon-Ra St. Brown was on the wrong side of a bet over the weekend with teammate Julian Okwara.
St. Brown, a wide receiver for the Detroit Lions, went to USC, and Okwara, a defensive lineman, went to Notre Dame. The 2 teammates made an “agreement” that if their former school won over the weekend, the loser had to rock the other team’s gear.
“We don’t do bets in this facility, we made an agreement outside of the facility,” St. Brown said in refrence to the league’s gambling policy. “I called JO, Facetimed him, and said if SC wins, you have to become a Trojan, and he said if Notre Dame wins I gotta be… I don’t know what this is called, I don’t know what they call this. Whatever this green thing is.”
Lions WR Amon-Ra St. Brown lost an “agreement” with Julian Okwara over the USC-Notre Dame game. St. Brown played at USC. Okwara played at Notre Dame. Notre Dame won.

Obviously Notre Dame came out on top, so St. Brown was seen in the Lions’ locker room on Thursday dressed up as a leprechaun, honoring the Fighting Irish.
Okwara will have bragging rights for the rest of the season, but on the field they’ll look to help their current team keep up a hot 5-1 start to the NFL season.
