Blaker Fisher has played his last snap at Notre Dame.

Fisher will be entering the 2024 NFL Draft and will not represent the Fighting Irish at the Sun Bowl, he announced on Friday.

Here’s his announcement:

“After a lot of thought and prayer with my family, I have made the decision to opt out of the bowl game and officially declare for the 2024 NFL Draft,” he wrote in-part. “I am so excited for this next opportunity and will continue to strive to make the Fighting Irish proud.”

Fisher spent 3 seasons at Notre Dame. He arrived in the class of 2021 and made a pair of starts as a true freshman that season. Over the past 2 years, he’s been Notre Dame’s regular starter at right tackle.

Fisher was a big reason why Notre Dame’s offensive line was named a semifinalist for the Joe Moore Award this season.

With left tackle Joe Alt also expected to enter the 2024 NFL Draft, Notre Dame will likely have to replace a pair of longtime starters at the tackle position this offseason.

Notre Dame will face Oregon State in the Sun Bowl on Dec. 29.
