Brian Kelly is getting roasted for faking southern accent at LSU basketball game
Former Notre Dame coach Brian Kelly got caught trying a little too hard during an appearance at an LSU basketball game on Wednesday.
While addressing the crowd, Kelly used a clearly-fabricated southern accent while addressing the fans in attendance. By Thursday night, the video was making the rounds on Twitter.

Kelly stunned the college football world when he took the LSU job earlier this week. His entire coaching career has been spent in the midwest, dating back to his time as an assistant at Grand Valley State (Michigan) in the 1980s.
Here’s some of the reaction to his new “accent:”
Coach O probly wants to murder Brian Kelly right now. And hed be within his rights per Louisiana state law

Defensive coordinator Marcus Freeman is expected to be elevated to head coach on a permanent basis. The rest of Notre Dame’s staff is also expected to remain intact.
Notre Dame currently sits at 11-1 and has a chance to make the College Football Playoff depending on the results of Championship Saturday.
