College GameDay’s picks are in for Week 6.

That includes Notre Dame’s primetime matchup with Louisville, which is set to be broadcast on ABC. Notre Dame will be looking for its 30th straight win vs. ACC opposition while the Cardinals are fighting for a 6-0 start to the Jeff Brohm era.

All but one of GameDay’s panelists picked Notre Dame to win the game. Here’s how it broke down:

  • Desmond Howard: Notre Dame
  • Pat McAfee: Notre Dame
  • Baker Mayfield (guest picker): Louisville
  • Lee Corso: Notre Dame
  • Kirk Herbstreit: Notre Dame

Herbstreit did say he wouldn’t be surprised if it’s a close game, but is picking the Fighting Irish to get the job done.

“Notre Dame in the trenches I think is the difference,” Herbstreit said.

Notre Dame is coming off of back-to-back close games, including a last-minute win on the road against Duke in Week 5. This will be the Irish’s third consecutive primetime Saturday night game.

Last week, Louisville defeated NC State in a 13-10 affair. The Cardinals’ defense was dominant, but the offense struggled for the first time in 2023.

Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. ET on Saturday night.
