Dan Mullen made a few picks from college football’s Week 5 slate on Friday.

The two ACC games that Mullen decided to make a pick for were Notre Dame-Duke and Clemson-Syracuse. He decided to pick Duke (+5.5) and the points as the Blue Devils welcome the Fighting Irish to Durham.

Duke is undefeated while Notre Dame is coming off of a loss to Ohio State heading into Saturday night’s matchup. Duke started off the year with a bang, knocking off Clemson in the season opener.

The Blue Devils cruised past UConn in Week 4 by a score of 41-7. Riley Leonard had 248 yards passing, 30 yards rushing, and 2 total touchdowns.

Notre Dame cruised to a 4-0 record before stumbling against Ohio State last week. The Fighting Irish have won 29 consecutive regular season games against ACC opposition.

Duke and Notre Dame last played each other during the shortened 2020 season. Notre Dame beat Duke 27-13 in South Bend. The Fighting Irish lead the all-time series 5-2.

Kickoff will be at 7:30 p.m. ET on ABC.
