Dan Mullen favored one team in the Notre Dame-Clemson matchup, and that team was the Fighting Irish.

Notre Dame faces a struggling Clemson team that comes into the game at 4-4 after losing to N.C. State. The Fighting Irish beat the brakes off of Pitt in their last game to the tune of 58-7.

Notre Dame beat Clemson in South Bend last season 35-14. Before that game, these two met in the ACC title game in 2020. The Fighting Irish joined the conference for just one season before going back to being an FBS Independent.

Mullen also picked the winners of Washington-USC, Missouri-Georgia, Kansas State-Texas, Alabama-LSU, and Oklahoma-Oklahoma State.

The Tigers are on a two-game losing streak. They lost to Miami in Week 8 in Coral Gables.

Notre Dame is looking for its third straight win since the loss to Louisville earlier this year. After this, Marcus Freeman’s team plays Wake Forest and Stanford.

Kickoff will be at noon ET on ABC.
