Notre Dame is a big favorite against UNLV this weekend in South Bend.

The Fighting Irish will be looking to get back into the win column this week after suffering a stunning loss to Stanford in Week 7.

ESPN’s Football Power Index believes Notre Dame will do just that. FPI gives the Irish a 95.3% chance of winning on Saturday afternoon.

It’s a must-win game for Notre Dame, who is trying to get to bowl eligibility in Year 1 under Marcus Freeman. The Irish still have tough games remaining vs. ranked opponents in Syracuse, Clemson and USC.

Notre Dame has already lost 2 home games this season as a double-digit favorite in Las Vegas. In addition to losing to Stanford, Notre Dame also dropped a game to Marshall back in Week 2.

This will be the first-ever meeting between Notre Dame and UNLV on the gridiron.

Kickoff is at 2:30 p.m. ET from Notre Dame Stadium. The contest will be exclusively broadcast on Peacock, NBC’s streaming service.
