Notre Dame will be looking to play spoiler on Saturday night against USC.

The Fighting Irish will go on the road to face a Trojans team that is still fighting for a spot in the College Football Playoff.

According to ESPN’s Football Power Index, Notre Dame has a decent chance of pulling off the upset. FPI gives the Irish a 34.5% chance of coming away with a victory.

USC is a big favorite, and the Trojans are coming off of an impressive road win over UCLA last week. USC’s only loss this season was by one point against Utah.

However, Notre Dame has been playing well in recent weeks. The Irish have won five in a row and eight of their last nine. Notre Dame’s running game has been exceptional thanks to strong efforts from Audric Estime and Logan Diggs. USC ranks eighth in the Pac-12 in rushing defense, so that could be a weakness for this game.

Notre Dame has won four straight meetings in this series.

Kickoff is at 7:30 p.m. ET on Saturday night.
