Isaiah Foskey had an incredible outing against UNLV on Saturday afternoon.

The Notre Dame pass rusher recorded 2 blocked punts and 3 sacks in the game, helping to lead the Irish to a 44-21 victory.

Foskey was unblockable all game long, and was a big reason why this turned into a blowout victory for the Irish.

Notre Dame turned those two blocked punts into a quick 10 points in the first quarter and never looked back. The Irish scored 23 points in the opening stanza, which was more than they scored in full games vs. Ohio State, Marshall and Stanford.

Foskey is also nearing Notre Dame’s all-time record for sacks in a career. Today’s performance gives him 21.5 career sacks. Justin Tuck holds the all-time program record at 24.5.

Here are some highlights from Foskey’s big game:

Notre Dame faces Syracuse on the road next weekend. That will be a big test for the Irish, as Syracuse is 6-1 on the season and is a contender in the ACC Atlantic division despite losing to Clemson on Saturday.
