Logan Imes, elite guard out of Indiana, announces ACC commitment

Logan Imes, a 3-star guard out of Zionsville, Indiana, has announced a commitment to play in the ACC.

Imes is listed at 6-foot-4 and 190 pounds, and the No. 26 combo guard in America, and the No. 7 player in the state of Indiana, according to the 247Sports Composite. He was previously committed to Penn State, but flipped to the Fighting Irish following the coaching changes at both programs, to reunite with coach Micah Shrewsberry.

Imes chose Notre Dame over Creighton, Virginia Tech, Wake Forest and others to land the in-state talent. Schools like Butler, Purdue, Indiana did not offer a scholarship, according to 247Sports.

Imes this past season averaged 16.9 points, 5.6 rebounds, 3.1 assists and 1.2 steals per game, according to his MaxPreps profile.

Imes is the 5th player to join Notre Dame this cycle, along with Northwestern transfer Julian Roper and high school recruits Markus Burton, Carey Booth and Braeden Shrewsberry.
